Nearly every single time I go in here they screw up my burger, no matter how explicitly detailed I make the order. The last time? A large sheet of plastic was cooked into it. I'll be looking for a regular spot from now on, especially when an order of biscuits and gravy with an order of bacon is $13 (insanity.)

Great diner for at a good price. Service was well timed throughout breakfast from seating all the way through to paying the bill. They definitely ran on the customer's clock. The food was good. Everything was clean. The only recommendation is to have crayons or other reusable attention focusers for children whose parents did not bring toys or other activities for them.

Nice little cafe in downtown Oak Park. Service was great. Pancakes ad syrup were delicious...some of the best I have ever had. Country fried steak was really good, but a bit different because it was actual steak, not chopped beef. Biscuits and gravy we're good. Everything was prepared as ordered.

This place had good food and prices, but the service was not great. I was never offered a refill on my water and when I had half my food left I was rushed out by the waiter without being offered a box. I thought it was just because they were busy but when I walked by 15 minutes later nobody was at the table I had been sitting at.

Like the name imply, it is cozy. Family style breakfast restaurant, great service and good food. I love hashbrowns, theirs is sadly just ok but anything else is good.

Great local spot, amazing service and food! Everything on the menu is fresh, its cooked right in front of you and tastes amazing. Everything on the menu here is what I would order, have tried the omelets and skillets. Strawberry OJ is worth a try

Cozy diner serving delicious food. The Cowboy Benedict was a delicious mix of Eggs Benedict and Biscuiys and Gravy. Also enjoyed the Blue Lemon Poppy pancakes. The staff was also amazing, especially considering how busy it was on a Sunday. Definitely recommend!

The decor takes you back to a time when breakfast at Tiffany's was the standard. The food tickles your taste buds and the staff are kind and prompt. We had the chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, and the breakfast tacos. They came in large servings and left us in a delightful coma.

Great breakfast options besides your typical ham and eggs. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles and it was over the top it was so good. The strawberry and oj mix was a some damn tasty.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the customer service is always excellent and they keep the place well organized at all times. Rates are reasonable and they serve big portions.

Hidden gem on the main drag. Every year this place gets better. Been coming here for years. Great new renovations. Simply put, it's a great family-run diner experience with higher-quality food than you would expect from a standard family-run diner. Love coming here whenever I’m in the neighborhood. The staff is always friendly and the food is very good. Portion sizes are very generous. First time I was here, I ended up sharing an omelette with a friend. The kids mini pancakes are bigger than what I was expecting to see. They don't hold back on the food. The food had a homemade and delicious flavor. No fuzz no frills just good American breakfast food. Overall nice experience.

The breakfast tacos are a fave! Today I tried the raspberry nutella crepes and the hash browns with the bacon and onion in them. Never going back to regular hash browns again! I love this place!

We’ve been here on several occasions for early morning breakfast. The service is always exceptional and the portion sizes and extremely generous for a great price. I’ve tried several of the skillets and omelets, and so far none have disappointed.

They sat me down, took my ordered and delivered my food. Tortilla soup was luke warm like my green tea. After delivering my food, the server never revisited my table to inquire about any additional needs nor food quality. I ordered the tuna sandwich without noticing on the menu that it was on plain untoasted multi grain bread. Very disappointing. As I ate my food, I thought Potbelly would've been better. First and last time.

Delicious food and great service. Definitely coming back! Hash browns were actually tasteful and scrambled eggs were delicious. Tried the crepes and they were amazing and then I tried the pancakes and those were even better!

We have been here for brunch many times and every time their service has been great and the food excellent. I love their corn-beef hash it is my favorite. Also if you're having hashbrowns try them with bacon and grilled onions, it's a little extra but so worth it! The restaurant is clean with a cute decor.

Has the best hollandaise sauce ever made. A great way to make both Lox and duck a breakfast meal and a side dish.

Excellent downtown Oak Park restaurant! They have an extensive menu. Lots of breakfast choices. Their service is excellent. Even on days they are very busy service is quick and efficient. I would consider this restaurant to be moderately priced. There is a parking garage and metered parking spaces nearby.

Great place to come and enjoy a wide selection of breakfast entrees and sides. We enjoyed the Gluten Free Blue Lemon Poppy pancakes. Hot coffee and great service. Check out the menu and stop by for the good comfort and the good food.

I ordered the vegetation skillet but halfway through my meal, I noticed chunks of chicken. I notified the waiter and within 5 minutes another plate was in front of me. By this time I was in a rush to leave for work. Later when I TRIED to eat my skillet for lunch, I realized it only took 5 minutes to prepare because only the eggs had been cooked, the veggies were "raw". I will not visit Cozy Corner again.

The food and pricing of the food was great. I visited there two days ago with one other person after a long train ride so it was nice to brunch there on some hot food. However, the service was horrible. Our waters were not filled up once and the lady controlling the pass walked past us to ask the people sitting behind us how they were doing but not us. In fact, they only approached our table to give us the food and the check. Towards the end of service it seemed as of we were being pushed out of the restaurant, especially when my dining partner's half-eaten plate was swiftly taken without even an offering of a box for the leftovers. I would not recommend because of the passive-aggressive service. You can find a place with better service for sure.

Kind staff and the food is definitely worth the try! It's my go-to breakfast place. I suggest going during the week when it isn't so packed.

Went for breakfast today with a couple family members and ordered the Egg Mountain which turned out to be a lie according to the menu's description and our waitress's description of the meal (piled high she says). The order wasnt piled high it was more like throwing everything in the skillet scrambling and burning it. Talked with the waitress who alerted the manager about the food, in which he came out with an attitude saying " So, you want me to throw out four plates of food!!??" Instead of offering on rectifying the order we got attitude. The food looked like something young children would make for their parents. Totally disappointed👎Next time we'll just go to Hecho In Oak Park for lunch next door. Wonderful customer service there.

I came here about a month ago. I had the corn beef hash. The food was decent, the service in the other hand was meh. Our server was not attentive at all. The boss boy in the other hand went above and beyond. He was always attentive to our needs. He kept asking if we needed more coffee, if we needed more water or if we were okay. That was not his role to play but I truly appreciate a hard work man. Shout out to the boss boy at Cozy Corner for going above and beyond. The stars reflect on the boss boy's service. Thank you again. :)

Try the hash or French toast. Delicious!!! The orange juice is fresh squeezed on the spot.

Food is mediocre but it’s a breakfast place. Won’t return again as they were seating people out of order to fill a seat for that extra buck. Seating tables of 3 over 2 is not ok. Larger groups totally understandable. Bad customer service and would rather spend money elsewhere.

This is the best breakfast and lunch place. Occasionally you have to wait a little for a table. Always a good sign. Very efficient, great selection of comfort food. Good size portions, also always a good sign. This place exemplifies how people this far north keep warm.

This place just ripped me off... I ordered breakfast stake and instead I received hamburger potty... $17 for a hamburger potty?! Never eating there again and I will make sure to let my friends and family know as well.

I ordered food for almost 50 dollars for the delivery. I’m vegetarian I ordered omelette but they added sausage in it. After I called them, the guy was arguing instead of just listening , he was not even ready to listen. They should try to listen what customer needs. It was worst experience. For the delivery I tip $20 bucks for my food. But in the end I got nothing. They don’t even show some courtesy to listen to customer problem. Fixing a problem is a another issue. I ordered sunny side omelette, which says tomatoes and feta cheese online on google when I ordered but later when I received it came with the sausage. And I mentioned them no meat . But they were not ready to listen . Just arguing Bad customer service. I don’t recommend this place at all.

I really like this place. The crepes I had were good and the skillets taste great also. I've been here about 5-6 times and each time I've had a good experience. I would reccomend this place to anyone. The only thing I'd wish they had was better coffee!

This place was so awesome! The menu has a great variety and reasonable prices. Iced coffee was fantastic and the food was even better.

Of the slowly increasing number of places I've eaten at oak park, this is an ever increasing favorite. Its not high dining, instead, its good, american, .midwest down home grill. And it has a cost that reflects this, not inflating it with extras and instead doing its job well I'll assuredly return to this one as well. Great sandwiches.

Enjoyed this space from the first moment I attended. We visit often because it feels like a Mama-Papa place.

This is probably one of the most underrated restaurants in Downtown Oak Park. I love the interior and its overall atmosphere definitely lives up to its name. The food here is delicious, especially the French toast. The one minor gripe that I have is that their bacon is on the salty side, and their eggs - at least the ones that I were served - seemed to have been the kind that came out of the carton. Having said that, their attentive and outgoing service will definitely have me coming back for more.

I've been going here for breakfast over the past couple of weeks.Nice atmosphere and somewhat friendly staff.The food is OK. The prices are higher than other local diners, but the portions are good.Service is consistently good. I usually go alone and sit at the counter.I have the same complaint others have posted about. Their hash browns are under cooked. Even after asking for well done ones, they come under cooked.If it happens again, I will tell them I won't be coming back.Hash browns are a staple of the diner experience.If they resolve the hash brown issue, I'll give them another star.
